Fluorouracil

Fluorouracil (5-FU) is a chemotherapy drug (antimetabolite) used to treat various cancers like colon, breast, stomach, and pancreatic cancers, working by interfering with DNA/RNA synthesis to kill rapidly dividing cancer cells, and is also available as a topical cream for skin conditions. It's given intravenously for systemic treatment or applied topically, with side effects varying by use, but it can affect normal cells, causing issues like hair loss or gastrointestinal upset, and should only be used under strict medical supervision
