Phosphoric Acid

Phosphoric acid is a colorless, odorless, syrupy liquid (in commercial form) used in fertilizers, detergents, food/beverages (as an acidulant/preservative), rust removal, and dental products. It's a weak acid, generally safe in low concentrations but corrosive in high concentrations, causing skin/eye irritation. Key applications include providing phosphorus for crops, adding tang to sodas, cleaning metals, and etching teeth.
